who is the richest man of all time in human history

Image
imagine  a single individual having so much wealth they can control an entire region’s economy. In today’s world, when we think of rich people, we think Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, who is currently estimated to be worth over   $199.7 billion . Yet, even with their seemingly outrageous wealth, these individuals do not control the economies in which they operate. It’s crazy to imagine that the wealthiest man in history is estimated to have been worth double Jeff Bezos’s current net worth. It’s even harder to believe, given the socio-economic status of most black Africans nowadays, the wealthiest man in history was a black African man. His name was Mansa Musa, the tenth emperor of the Malian empire, a West African territory. He was not only the richest man in Mali but the richest man in human history. Who was Mansa Musa? Details of Musa are not easily available. This is because he lived during the thirteenth century. However, using the writings of ancient A...

The tricky part about teaching Afrakan liberation.

Image
The tricky part about teaching Afrakan liberation, is that your relentless adversaries trying to destroy your scholarship will not be from other races, but your own. This is why your greatest rival as Ausar is not of a different race, but your own brother Setekh whose mission is to kill you and your productivity (symbolized as your son Heru, the hero). Sometimes Setekh will be from obvious Eurocentric Blacks, but often it will come from within the camp via agents masked as Afrocentric scholars. They will spend all of their energy trying to debunk whatever teachings an Afrakan scholar presents. Sometimes, they are not even conscious that they are agents; they just suffer from the Crabs-in-a-barrel syndrome that causes them to obsess with attacking Blacks who are getting out of the barrel. Often they will argue with you simply because your following is larger and they are trying to steal some of your steam. Sometimes they've even published books and feels that makes them "a...

Leopards, a Symbol of Royalty and Divinity

Image
People in Egypt have been observing the natural world since long before they built the pyramids. In ancient Egyptian society, leopards represented determination and power; the animal's representation in the tomb was likely intended to strengthen the spirit of the recently deceased for the journey to the land of the dead. Priests required specific items of dress, one of which was the pelt of a leopard. Fastened over a shoulder or hanging down the back, the leopard skin served as a powerful symbol of regeneration, particularly relevant for priests conducting rituals carried out on behalf of the dead. Some ranks of the Egyptian priesthood wore leopard-skin mantles, or cloaks, while performing their official duties, marking them as high priest. Tutankhamun, who was in theory the high priest of every god, was buried with this type of mantle. Depictions suggest that priests wore actual pelts, but nearly all the rare surviving examples are made from painted linen. In ancient times, the ...

The Land of Punt and Egypt

Image
The Land of Punt is described in ancient Egyptian texts as "The Land of the Gods" and a region rich in resources. Egypt grew as a nation as trade increased beginning in the latter part of the Predynastic Period (c. 6000-3150 BCE). By the Early Dynastic Period (c. 3150-2613 BCE) trade was firmly established with regions in Mesopotamia and Phoenicia. By the time of the Fifth Dynasty (c. 2498-2345 BCE) Egypt was flourishing through trade with these areas and especially the Phoenician city of Byblos and the countries of Nubia and Punt. Punt was not only a significant partner in trade, however; it was also a source of cultural and religious influence and a land which the Egyptians viewed as their place of origin and blessed by the gods. The Land of Punt was long associated with the gods and Egypt's legendary past partly because so many of the materials from Punt were used in temple rituals. The leopard skins from Punt were worn by priests, the gold became statuary, the incen...
